Last year I saw them I went outside to smoke at work in the night and everyone was looking up at them no so great as that picutre but still awesome to look at.
makes ya love life doesnt it? they moved away it seemed maybe it was a big cloud that covered them after a few minutes.
They are especially beautiful up in the Artic regions, like in Finland. I saw them when I was up in Greenland a little over 20 years ago. It was an absolutely stunning sight.
Great photo Cowgirl. I seen a sight like that once while in the Navy pratrolling the North Atlantic. Nowadays I see a similar one just over my back ridge coming from the practise firing range at Ft.Knox Army base. Thanks for sharing the picture ,it helps keep my eyes focused on the fact that perhaps there really are spiritual starbursts for us all to enjoy!
Hey, Ryan and I were able to see them all the way down here in the Grand Rapids area last Sunday evening. It was my first time I saw the northern lights. Thanks God.

That is an inspirational, surreal and awesome photo.
It reminds me of the verse,that says, that "the fool says in his heart, 'there is no God. '"
Looking at nature we can see God had to have created it all, in all its beauty and perfection!
Our God is One Almighty God!!

Mighty purty! :)-->
We get them here time and again, but that big ole Lake out there causes enough fog, clouds, etc., that they are usually obscured from view. :(-->

Beautiful picture. We get them often here in Maine during the winter months but not with that intensity of color.
