I'l bet dad was upset. Was he equally upset with his daughter? Did she NOT know that sex can lead to pregnancy? Did she not know about birth control? If that is the case dad should be upset with himself!
There is a far cry difference between two consenting teenagers having sex (as much as I believe it would be best if they did not) and a legal adult or even a teenager who has sex with a young child. I think equating the two - placing them on the same level, undermines the horror of what happens to the young child and the severity of the penalty the predator should face.

And keep in mind that CHILD MOLESTERS CAN NOT BE CURED!! They are not like a thief or bad check writer who gets out and can go straight.

He got sixty years he had just turned twelve he will be sent to prison on his 18th birthday till then he is locked up in a secured facility for youths. the night they arrested him he went to county jail lock up.

I have had two girls, both prepubescent make sexually suggestive moves towards me.
In one case the mom told me that her daughter had been over at a friends house and gone online cam to cam with a boy they met.
Once mom found out about it, her n her brother (a deputy sherrif) paid him and his parents a visit. They now moniter her activities a lot more.
In the other instance it was revealed later that a neighbor had been routinely molesting the neighborhood kids.
Havving lived in the neighborhood where a neighbor invited a sex offender that was relovating from Michigan to here in Albuquerque...and having our neighborhood association reps end up on the Connie Chung MSNBC show, I can tell you this....the man that started it all...going for the underdog sex-offender hass lost his wife , family, status in the community...and much more, my babysitter lives 4 houses away from him....I can tell you there is no way in hell that guy was gonna invite a registerd sex offneder into our neighborhood without a major legal battle on his hands, and that is just what we did. long story...PT me if ya wannta know what we did to keep the creep away.
But within 3 months 30% of the homes went on the market...just to get away form this so called community activist who was trying to help the sex offender! The guy lost everything asking this jerk to move-in (the stink was there was no place that sex offneders could live)...

BTW, there are FIVE registered in my town of less than 8,000. 2 are statutory rapists.

When I made the statement about moving, I misread your post. I thought you said what would I do if one of these offenders lived next door to me personally. For sure, I would move to another part of town.
But that's not what you wrote. I misunderstood it.
Now that I do understand your question, I think after a while, I would get so used to the photos being there, I'd just ignore it. Not ignore the threat, I grew up in NYC and I'm used to keeping things like this in the back of my mind (potential threats). But - if it got to me I'd probably avoid the store.
