Well, I gave a clue earlier, but no one picked up on it.
See, here in Ohio, it's DEER season, and Thuresday and Friday, and hopefully, Saturday, I'm going to be HUNTing. But, that will depend on my work schedule, and weathER permitting, of course
Well, okay, I HAVE seen some of "The Deer Hunter"; but I doubt I've seen the beginning (where the music probably would be heard). I actually met one of the (bit part) actresses from the film. She was a cousin of Don Brunelle (9th Corps); I met her at his wedding.
Well, that really IS more difficult than the other one!
Most of the songs with "bottle" as part of the lyrics are country, except for Time In A Bottle. But no mention of can in that one. Same with Message In A Bottle.

Bluzeman and Moony, sorry I forgot to mention it was played on TV. The words "bottle" and "can" are not in the song but hopefully you'll figure it out before hand and then you'll see how those two clues relate.
This next clue I can't give you a word for it or I'll end up giving it away, when you figure out what the picture is, again it's related to the picture but not in the song, it's a little bit of history behind it.
I really blew the last one I tried, but I'll bite again. I think I know this one too. If I could carry a tune in a bucket, I'd show others how, I really would!
Hmmm, I'm thinking it's a song, not a tv show or movie.
I'm willing to concede the win to bowtie, though I didn't get the answer from her clues. I'm not sure how I got it, really, tho the bottle and the can fit when it came to me.
Anyway, have a coke on me, bowtie-preferably in the old 8 ounce green bottle.
Actually, it was the picture of the adult with a kid on a hilltop that made me think of the commercial jingle and I went back through the clues, which led me to the song.
When I first saw the bottles or cans I thought to myself, "I prefer my beer in bottles, personally."
Now I'll have to find out how to post links...
Thanks for the cokes - enough caffeine to get me through painting the princess' bedroom.

The only thing I got is either the north or south side of Central Park.
More likely the northern end, but not sure.

I know I'm confused, Cowgirl! Is this a clue to a movie or TV show (or beer commercial)?

George, it was a VERY popular song, done in the 70's, you could hear it playing anytime of the day or night!!

So it's a '70's tv show?
Just got a new contract today that will bring in a minimum of $1,000 per month. That's 2 new ones for a grand or more in less than 30 day's. Woo-Hoo!
Rick(Who's no wondering how he will fit 28 hours in a day to keep up with all the new work) :(

Hmmmm. I guessed the song, which is what played when I clicked on your link. I think I'd like to ask for a recount.
The title is "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing." My clue was "... If I could carry a tune in a bucket, I'd show others how, I really would!"
Of course, I'll abide by whatever the judges rule...
