Well, maybe so but that's not how *I* heard it as a kid taking dance lessons . And as far as your Fred and Eleanor clip goes, what you thought would be easy, wasn't for me. I don't know WHO the narrator is. But.. I know the song. Let's just say that song begins something. You're right about the dancing.. as the narrator mentioned. They made it seem so effortless and I wonder how many takes it took to get it??
Hints on the narrator?? He DOES sound very familiar.
Sushi, there was another thing that caught my eye while looking at her page. My brother graduated from the high school mentioned in New Port Richey which was the city he lived in. It was neat to see that familiar of something tied to someone I've grown to enjoy very much.
Sushi, am I correct that you turned Hope onto her as well? Seems to me I even saw a picture of Christine and Hope together once. Hmmm does that ring a bell to you?
Aw, Christine is nothing compared to this next canary. Now, click HERE! to hear a really accomplished singer. And I bet you don't even know who it is!!
You're most kind but like that kid in love Ted Ferrell said about my voice....he'd rather hear the heart I put into it rather than quality of voice anytime. And on that I must admit I do give from deep inside when I sing but I know I haven't a good voice. I have favorites I like to sing with also.

Thank you SaintGeorge and Sudo!
I love to watch tap dancing and Fred Astaire or especially Gene Kelly amaze me with their talent.
Their partners over the years have been incredible assets. Has anyone seen Judy Garland dance with them? She was great!
And even though I recognize the voice I can’t make it out, nor the song but I’ll keep thinking.

Sushi,
That was cute. :)
I just did a very quick peek at her website. She wrote a song about Prince Charles?

Sounds like Arthur Godfrey... but that's just a guess...
Sudo, are you "nostalgic" for your Grizzlies?

After another listen it sounds like it could be Frank Sinatra.

I agree with Kathy on Frank Sinatra.

I don't know this for a fact, but I'm pretty sure Kathy is right. Frank was the person that immediately came to mind when I heard him.
And Sudo was right about the song, though it wasn't the usual Artie Shaw version.

I listened to it again... and I concur... I wasn't even thinking about him!

Yes, Kathy, that picture was probably taken on a cruise concert Christine did once. It was also after I 'introduced' Hope to Christine.

Does Christine know you are such a faithful follower.
I'm bad I know but you have to admit it just sat there begging to be used. :)

Kathy,
I would think so, since i showed at one of her concerts with an LP for her to sign. It had been 17 years since I had seen her.

I beg to differ about your assertion that your singer's better than MY singer. Be that as it may, my suspicion is it's one of our very own posters.

I had to peek in while making a pit stop and lo and behold but who do I hear singing.
Sudo, you were very gracious in your compliment but a voice I honestly don't have, yet it hasn't stopped me too many times.
Sushi, would you sing back up for me?
