omg...it really is James younger brother. Wow! They sound so alike. I've never heard him before. I've heard James and Carly's son sing and he has a wonderful voice.
That was a double treat. You don't have to really do one in the morning. Thank you for this one, it was quite enjoyable.
I may have done this one before but I loved this show. And one of the stars wasn't a living thing. Or at least I thought she was one of the stars. HERE
Were they always playing tennis or does it just seem that way?I was a big fan of the 'comedian' on that show and his records back then. I still respect him though he's turned into a bit of a 'curmedgeon' over time. But then haven't we all?
I wonder if the murder of his son on the roadside while changing a tire (if memory is correct) and then later that woman that claimed to be his daughter may have contributed some to his change.
I forgot about what happened to his son. I pass the spot where it happened all the time.
I've heard other items of 'infedelity' thrown at him, but usually don't care or pay attention to that stuff, unless it concerns cult leaders that have directly impacted my life.
The loss of his son was sad, the other isn't really mine to accuse him of IMHO. But I imagine should it be true or not it causes great stress for his home and might impact his opinion on things that he's gotten a bit more serious about.
But I do enjoy him and did read a book he wrote several years ago about his early days.
That's wild that you pass that area his son was killed at. :(
I do not recognize the theme song at all. But just from reading your discussions, it sounds like one of the actors was Bill Cosby, so was the show I Spy?
I enjoyed this actor. We've spoken of him here before. He and I had something in common that was unusual but I can't seem to recall what it was now. HERE
We've talked about him as you say. He died not long ago, didn't he? It seems so odd because I remember him as a young adult on a TV Western series from the 50's and early 60's. And now he's gone after having grown old. Have I got the correct actor???
Yes it's him. Did you ever see that movie where he was driving and some truck was trying to kill him? I loved him in westerns. And there's still something I have in common with him.
This is what we have in common. We both studied under this person. Well he was dead but it was his work. A Hindi named Paramahansa Yogananda. I know, I know.
Obviously we're talking about Dennis W. The movie "Duel," where he was pursued by a deranged truck driver, was taken from a short story in Playboy. (I actually DID read the articles!)
Well since y'all seem to be getting mine I'll do another.
This one isn't real old but some of you are the age you might have watched it as a teenager. There was a cute little girl in it that later had a role on West Wing. HERE

I definitely liked Sebastian Cabot better than John Williams.

Again, I may have already done this one. But I enjoyed the interaction of the two main actors, one of which can make a statue smile. HERE

Yes you know it as well as Sudo.
The show was McCloud with Dennis Weaver.
And sure, all men read the articles you know.
Well since y'all seem to be getting mine I'll do another.

my favorite Dennis Weaver role was as Chester on Gunsmoke.
I was way beyond a teenager when that second show aired. But then I've been way beyond a teenager for a long time.
