Morgan, be glad to. Send me a private message with what you would like for a username and password.
Now, gonna take a break from all the Christmas stuff to post THIS song. I"m sure everyone knows it, but there is a male backup singer in this song. He is in all but the first verse, but at about the 3:26 mark you can hear him very well. Anyone know who it is?
Your good George! That's right, it is Mick Jagger singing backup for Carly Simon! I heard that song all the time on the radio back when it was popular, but never knew that was him singing! Of course, after I learned it was, there is no mistaking that voice!
Dude, I have his stuff remember  you sent it to me. I mean the exact sound. Like how you pick out your guitars, they all sound different. Wonder what that one sounds like.
For those who are NOT familiar with Albert Collins, click HERE!
Now even if you don't like blues (is there anyone who doesn't like blues? Well, other than Sudo :) ) listen to the words anyway, it's a real funny song!
Hey Moony! I had never heard about it till recently. But after listening to it, there is no mistaking his voice! Thought that would be obscure enought that no one would get it, but George Aar got it right off the bat! And you knew it too...too cool!
Geo, yup I heard it also but was glad to read your link. Funny though how she said it could be about certain men. And I ain't making a man remark  I promise. :)
It's good to see your font around here, you've been missed.
I must confess I'm not a blue's fan, but that's cool, when anyone ever posts a blue's song I do listen to it for a little bit, but I have no idea who it is playing or singing BUTTTTTTTTTT I do expect everyone to like country, that's a given !! Ha Ha
I dunno if it's really Mick in the background.. I've got a good copy of the song and I think if you pay attention it COULD be someone else! Click HERE!

Yeah, I thought it was especially sweet. Wonder what sound comes from it.
George, yup as soon as I heard it I thought gosh they must look interesting singing together beings she doesn't lack in the area of lips either.
Ala, I thought that snowman shot was fun. And I agree with Rick, it's good to see you here.
SaintGeorge, an interesting way of saying that All I can say is I can't prove him wrong!

Moony,
Re:"At the time, there was rumor that the song was about her and Jagger"
I thought it was supposed to be about Warren Beatty. Can't remember where I heard that now, but...

I guess where you lived depended on which rumor you heard.
Whenever I hear that song I remember exactly where (and why) I was standing. Memories....

Rick,
I LIKE blues, but six minutes is a bit long, even for me. That sound of wiping dishes: was that actually sliding up and down the guitar strings?
