Rick, I recognize it but for different reasons and have no idea the movie.
I'm fooling around with this new software again so this may or may not have the artist in it. Either way it was a favorite of mine once upon a time. HERE
Rats! Oh well I'll figure it out eventually but that's it for tongiht. :)
And here is where you go...hmmm leave a typo or have an edit notation.
I'm back from my trip to Allentown and excursions and I have to tell you.. we've got a player in Cowgirl because she's the only one who knows this one. I'm more along the lines of George... I don't know where I was during this big hit. But I bet Cowgirl is going to razz us :(.
Look guys... we're having fun but really.. we shouldn't have so many tunes posted at one time. This has led to hard feelings in the past. I've had to try and explain to more than one person in the past who has had their feelings hurt because they thought people were ignoring them and/or their posts. Case in point.. though I know Kathy isn't upset she posted a TV theme that only Mooney knew. George didn't know. And all others just ignored and went to other subjects. As if Kathy hadn't posted a thing. I've been playing a bit of catch-up but here's the one she posted... click HERE! And its such a great theme on several levels, too. It's a classical music piece. It's from a great anthology series and it's nostalgia TV to the max. But it just sort of slipped on by mostly un-noticed.
We have a great time here. We get folks who come and stay a while because they feel nice and comfy here. I would like to see that continue... for all of us. So lets see if we can't limit it to three outstanding before any more tunes are introduced. OK? I don't want anyone getting burned out. So quick question... how many *DO* we have outstanding right now???
Welcome home and you look cold (burr). Thanks for finding your way to the computer while away and saying hi to us.
And yup, I was thinking perhaps too many links were going on also. I have some open but I think just pass em by and after we get caught up I'll do a fresh one :) once I can figure out this dang name not showing thingie but I will get it sooner or later. It will not win! ;)
That was sweet of ya to mention me not being upset cause tune(s) were being passed by.
Did you see our dear Geo posted while you were away also.
I think we may have created a monster when we pushed Kathy to post more. How about a compromise where any poster has no more than one open link? If no one guesses the answer, and you want to post another, just tell us the one we didn't know!
Here's what's going on. Google is simply caching pages for their search engine. There's hot competition among the search engines. Yahoo! was the one time leader but while they weren't looking, Google took over and it was very fast. Do any of you remember how frustrating it used to be to find stuff on the internet before Google? I remember trying out one of those freeware programs that would do a simultaneous search using about 10 search engines like Alta Vista, Lycos I can't remember them all now but..... they ALL were inadequate. Then someone told me about Google. I tried it once and never went anywhere else again. Oh, I still use Yahoo! for people search but that's about it.
I've tried and sure enough, you can search for specific posts on Google and it will have a lot of them available. Of course, WayDale and the old greasespot is no longer on line but you click on the 'cached' option and there it is. That's a good thing to remember, too folks, on any search you do but can't seem to open the link.. click on the 'cached' option.
I've never seen Vegi Tales and it may have had a similar theme song to the one I posted, but mine was a different movie. But to give you a hint, the name of this movie is what I will be Thuresday and Friday of this week. :)

Well Crimeny Sudo, first we aren't posting enough, then you say we're posting too much! Damned if we do, and damned if we don't! Heck, I could have stayed married and gotten treated like THIS!
Rick(who knows that Sudo knows that I know that HE knows that I'm just kidding!)
Sudo, thanks for the info on Google.com. I reckon that makes sense. :)
Remember what I said about having to pay for my long weekend.
Rick, I asked hubby if okay to say his name in post and he said he preferred not and after all you know him so what else matters. I think that is some of that male thing you guys do with each other.
Back to work, I shouldn't even have stopped to peek in really. :o
And Cowgirl seemed so SURE it was Veggi Tales, too. But I didn't think Veggie Tales was a big time movie. Hmmmm... was it by any chance, "Pretending To Work"??? Just a wild guess. Hee-hee! :P
Re:"...then you say we're posting too much! Damned if we do, and damned if we don't! Heck.."
Yeah?? Well, the floggings will continue around here until morale improves!! Now back to work!
George- My apologies. I did get your pm and managed to space on it over Thanksgiving. I believe the person in question is still at the same place. At least she was last I knew. She doesn't know me but I certainly know of her, as she's been there for ages. I'll try to get you a contact number and pm you-if I can figure out how pm's work.
If I space again please bop me upside the head. My only weakness is forgetfulness.

Alot goes on in here when you're away for a day or two.
I don't know the movie theme.
Kathy's tv theme is so familiar I'm surprised anyone doesn't know it. The most famous 'profile' in tv history. Maybe I'm older than I thought. :(
