My company has not one but two cars running in the Indy on Sunday, driven by the A.J. Foyt grandkids. We are all very proud of this participation, especially of the distinctive red, white, and blue cars (#14 and #41.) Those have been the company's colors since day one in '82, and it's a great morale booster for everyone to see the cars. A.J. seems to have taken a liking to the company owner, and you may spot him wearing our logo on his cap. Row 10-Toyota engines, so probably not much of a showing, but it'll be great to see them!

Happy Memorial Day to all-and remember those who sacrificed for all of us.

Have a good one too, topoftheworld. icon_smile.gif:)-->

I'll be in Bloomington listening to the race with my folks (no doubt), because even though they are not normally race fans -- every year they tune that one in on the radio, and listen.

Go figure. icon_biggrin.gif:D-->

Yes, our fair city has been "teaming" icon_biggrin.gif:D--> with activity all week. Hundreds of thousands of folks in the streets. Big parade downtown this a.m.

Tomorrow is the big day. I'll be watching on T.V. - - though there is NOTHING like sitting there live and in person right in front of the pits like I have for the past few years! VROOM!

David - - glad you made it safe and sound. Looking forward to saying hi soon. wave.gif:wave:-->

Haven't left Minney-soda yet, Jardinero. icon_razz.gif:P-->

Leaving here tomorrow morning, and will be arriving in B-town 12-15 hours later. It is either the prescence, (or the lack thereof) of state patrols that will determine how quick the trip will be. icon_biggrin.gif:D-->

My all-time record for the 750 mile trip was 11 1/2 hours. And that includes bathroom breaks, gas stops, food stops, and the stretch between Bloomington and Indy where it is only 55 mph. icon_cool.gif
