Was the scene in "It Happened One Night" the one where the guy explains to the woman how to hitchhike, then demonstrates it very unsuccessfully, and then she tries it and stops the next car immediately by flashing her leg?

That's it.  :biglaugh:  Her comment: "The leg is mightier than the thumb."

Normally, that would have helped a lot. Ironically, this time I got to it last because I tried to catch up, and started from the oldest threads, so bumping it moved it up and delayed my response.  Funny how that happens sometimes.  I have an idea this time, hang on.....

"I'll be in my bedroom, making no noise and pretending I don't exist."

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."    "Mischief managed."

"My eyes aren't 'glistening with the ghosts of my past!' "

"Be brave, Professor. Be brave like my mother ... Otherwise, you disgrace her. Otherwise, she died for nothing. Otherwise, the bowl will remain empty ... forever."

"You betrayed my parents! You're the reason they're dead!"

"Don't worry. My dad will come. He'll conjure the Patronus. Any minute now. Right there. You'll see."

"Expecto patronum!"

"He's back! He's back! Voldemort's back! Cedric, he asked me to bring his body back. I couldn't leave him-- not there!"

"Working hard is important. But there is something that matters even more, believing in yourself. Think of it this way; every great wizard in history has started out as nothing more than what we are now: students. If they can do it, why not us?"

"All students must be equipped with... a one standard size two pewter cauldron, and may bring, if they desire, either an owl, a cat, or a toad. Can we find all this in London?"

"Not to be rude or anything, but this isn't a great for me to have a house-elf in my bedroom."

I forget.  Who's the guy who played Harry Potter?   I assume this is he.

George

Normally I'd ask for more, but I don't care anymore.  I thought we were going to see WordPup sign up just to answer the question or something.

You're thinking of DANIEL RADCLIFFE, which is correct.

Go, George!

"He is trained to kill. You seem trained to drink. Oh, yes, my friend, you would have fought very bravely, and died very quickly. Who then would avenge your brother?"

"Thor Odinson... you have betrayed the express command of your king. Through your arrogance and stupidity, you've opened these peaceful realms and innocent lives to the horror and desolation of war! You are unworthy of these realms, you're unworthy of your title, you're unworthy... of the loved ones you have betrayed! I now take from you your power! In the name of my father and his father before, I, Odin All-father, cast you out!"

"I thought I was going to sneak away tonight. What a glorious night. Every face I see is a memory. It may not be a perfectly perfect memory. Sometimes we had our ups and downs. But we're all together, and you're mine for a night. And I'm going to break precedent and tell you my one candle wish: that you would have a life as lucky as mine, where you can wake up one morning and say, "I don't want anything more." Sixty-five years. Don't they go by in a blink?"
