The second line must be from Predator 2. If it wasn't Glover, maybe

Gary Busey?

Georg

There you go.  You're right the first set of clues were Predator 2.  Followed by "Point Break"; "Speak into the microphone squid brain"  love that line. And following them were some from "Lethal Weapon" and finishing with "The Buddy Holly Story".

I almost threw in the cards perhaps because I find some his characters works interesting but I didn't know if anyone had a similar interest.  Maybe too obscure.  But I'm glad you got it.

"All cowboys ain't dumb. Some of 'em got smarts real good, like me."

"I'll dance with you, but it's not like you're my dream girl or nothin'"

"And you know what they call a... a... a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in Paris?...they got the metric system. They wouldn't know what the f--- a Quarter Pounder is.  They call it a Royale with cheese."

The second one MIGHT be something Tony Manero said.   The first one MIGHT be from a movie with a name like "Midnight Cowboy" or "Electric Cowboy" or something like that.

The third quote was a conversation between Jules and Vincent in "Pulp Fiction." IIRC, Jules reacted to this comment, and Vincent had traveled to Europe- Amsterdam, Paris, etc.

So, that should make the the actor JOHN TRAVOLTA.

It's Gene Hackman.

The second line is definitely from Superman II.

The first, I think, is from Young Frankenstein.

Not sure about the third.  Maybe The French Connection or Unforgiven.

George

The second line was very recognizable if you saw Superman II.  The Kryptonian bad guys were about to betray/kill Lex Luthor, when Superman arrived.  Lex: "Superman, thank God....I mean, GET HIM!"

The first quote was from Young Frankenstein, where GH played the blind hermit.  The monster ran off. GH improv'ed this line as the monster ran off.  The crew had to struggle with laughing and ruining the take.

The third quote was "Popeye" Doyle's last line in The French Connection.
