The point is anyone and everyone will throw around "spiritual" claims. Everyone claims to have the REAL "spiritual truth." I say, beware those making such claims.
This is silly, Rocky. You are mistaken. Honest mistake, I'm sure.

The study suggests that it is a mistake to attribute adult reasoning to children.

The poem is usually attributedto Shakespeare, but some scholars doubt that he wrote it.
IOW, "who wants to know?" It wasn't a mistake on my part. It wasn't a mistake on your part either. It simply wasn't clear to me what you were getting at. Nevertheless, Waysider's contribution essentially cleared it all up.
Russians think completely different than we do. Some of that has to do with geography. Places like North America are relatively safe from invasion. So security is a bigger concern over there.
Other matters have to do with Orthodox Christianity, which I'm not entirely clear on. The idea is we think the way we think, both religious and non-religious, because of the influence of the Western Church.

To whom is it attributed BY whom? Your post seems quite cryptic.

I know. That's why it's cryptic as I read it.
To whom was it attributed BY whom?
Anyway, apparently Vlad said it, according to the news item Waysider provided.
Thus, we get a bit of Vlad's self-justification for his ego-driven invasion of Ukraine.
It also seems apparent how Vlad clearly projected HIS spiritual catastrophe onto "the west."
Nevertheless, isn't this a political topic?

1000 points!
The quote is attributed to Vladimir Putin, who addressed his parliament a few hours before Biden gave a speech in Poland.
"Millions of people in theWest understand that they are being led to a real spiritual catastrophe."

Well, that phrasing seems cumbersome. Is that how you would have written the sentence?

I don't intend it to be.
