Before my time. I would not have imagined it would have gone that way, based on the impressions I have of the different presidents. Then again, you miss a lot when you're looking only through a lens of history rather than living through it, and I never made a particular study of this, so my impressions are bound to be brief and inaccurate in a lot of ways.
You should all at least know OF actor BELA LUGOSI, who was in many films. He was typecast- but played more than one role. You should all at least know OF actor LON CHANEY JR, who was in many films. He was typecast- but played more than one role.
I'll divide this into an "EASY" a "MEDIUM", and a "HARD" answer.
EASY- Name at least ONE movie where both actors appeared.
MEDIUM- Name at least ONE movie where both actors appeared- and name their ROLES in that movie (Who did they play?_
HARD- Name at least THREE movies where both actors appeared, and for bragging rights, who they played in them.
(For the curious, I can name two for sure off the top of my head, as well as who they played in each, and I think I could manage a third.)
I think they might have reprised those roles, along with Boris Karloff as Frankenstein's Monster, in an Abbott and Costello film, also.
George
I just checked. I can't find an "Abbott and Costello" film where Boris Karloff played Frankenstein's Monster. They did at least 2 movies with Boris Karloff, but in neither did BK play his most famous role.
Of course, BK has nothing to do with the question that's currently up.
In case you're wondering, I'm not aware of any animated or voice-work that unites the actors. This is solely about films where the cameras were pointed at both actors in the usual fashion.
"Dracula Vs the Wolfman" was a 2024 movie. Both actors were long dead by then.
"The Wolf Man Vs Dracula" was never filmed, but there were plans to cast both of them- but nothing definite.
IIRC, there's at least 4 movies that fit the requirements of the question.

BTW, every word I posted was correct, and I phrased myself carefully in both posts.
OK. Karloff wasn't in it; but "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein" did have Lugosi as Dracula and Chaney as the Wolfman. Different actor played the Monster.

CORRECT!
Glenn Strange returned to play Frankenstein's Monster (again.) BL and LC reprised their most famous roles in this movie. Nice little Vincent Price cameo, too.

The other movies? Well, this was the last, IIRC. The first was "the Wolf Man." LC Jr played Larry Talbot. Larry was attacked by a wolf that was later killed. That was a werewolf, and Larry was infected. Bela Lugosi played "Bela", a gypsy traveling through the area- who turned into a werewolf and attacked Larry.
A sort-of sequel to that movie was "Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man." LC Jr as Larry Talbot, and Bela Lugosi as Frankenstein's Monster.
Between the two movies was "The Ghost of Frankenstein." LC Jr as The Monster, BL as Ygor.
There was a sort-of round robin of the actors in a number of roles across a decade or so.
Some characters on TV shows are meant to be one- or two-episode guests and get such fan recognition that they become regulars (e.g., Cliff Claven on "Cheers"; Amy Fowler on "The Big Bang Theory").
This quiz is about the opposite case: a character is a regular for a season or so, but then just disappears. Sometimes, some meager explanation is given, but not always. We're just supposed to forget they were there. Name three of these to win the round:
Name the child who was adopted by the Bundys in "Married with Children" but then disappeared.
Name Richie Cunningham's older brother. ("Happy Days")
Name Eric Forman's sister on "That '70s Show."
For real experts, name Donna Pinciotti's sister on "That '70s Show." (She appeared in only one episode,)
Name the oldest brother on "My Three Sons." He was in about half of the episodes.
Name the oldest Cartwright brother ("Bonanza"). He was actually in about half of the episodes.
I can only name #2. He went upstairs, and the actor was never seen again. (The character was later said to have joined the army, so we heard OF him, just not FROM him.)
Ok, for those who don't know, modcat5 and Raf are the same person.
And this is not MUCH of a trivia question, but I enjoy it.
In the TV series "The Good Place," which is about the afterlife, the core characters are told that one of them must be sent on a train to "the Bad Place" to correct an afterlife imbalance. They debate over which of them would be best to sacrifice himself/herself for the others, when the main character comes to a sudden realization that means NONE of them will board the train to the Bad Place.
Assuming that anyone getting on the train is doing so voluntarily (and not being "voted off the island," so to speak), such a sacrifice would presumably destine the person for the "Good Place."

Correct. The other three:

6. Adam
The one that would have been a "freebie": The hot yeoman who was probably meant to be a love interest for Capt. Kirk. Janice Rand.

That was not it.
Good guess though.
By the way if you never watched the show, this spoils the first season's climax.
But it's also common knowledge enough to be a meme.
No one would board the train to the Bad Place.
Why not?

So apparently one character figured it out multiple times, but the first time was a reveal to the audience as well.

I'd never heard of this show. *checks* 4 seasons on NBC?
Well, I don't get NBC, but I tend to think most shows end up here somehow. It's apparently not true, but I tend to think it anyway.
