Assuming the character from Apollo 13 was Marilyn Lovell, that would be Kathleen Quinlan.  She's also old enough to have been in American Graffiti, though I don't remember her from that flick.

I'm not sure about "Tropic Thunder." With "Garfield" I'm not confident.  "The Tuxedo" starred Jackie Chan and Jennifer Love Hewitt- who was one of the 2 titular heartbreakers.
