That's him. Erroneously quoted in Apollo 13 by Jim Lovell (Tom Hanks). But in actuality it was astronaut Jim Swigart who said "OK Houston, we've had a problem here".
No, a much more recent character. The 2nd sentence was directed at the 4th wall. Also, I posted a clue, and apparently, it was brilliantly concealed because you missed it.
I loved the "puny god" part, but I think my favorite scene was a moment in the big battle where all of the Avengers briefly form a circle before heading back out to confront their targets. A very comic-book-y scene.
I knew this character's name long before I sat down to watch any of the first movie. But I can wait to see if someone else chimes in. Perhaps you'll remember overhearing his name mentioned somewhere. His fame has increased. One might say he's gotten bigger.
Correct! GRU said that line. Your turn. I'm going to be hard to reach for about a week, so don't be surprised if I don't log in Sunday-Sunday or thereabouts.

It's obviously from "Apollo 13." I think the character was Jim Lovell.

Ariel, listen to me. The human world is a mess. Life under the sea is better than anything they got up there.

Let's see who remembers this minor, but important, line of explanatory dialogue:
" I suggest you don't worry about those things and just enjoy yourself. That goes for you all, too. :

It's also possible I missed it, because I don't understand it.
Let's try -- Deadpool?

A lot more recent than WW&tCF, a LOT older than Deadpool. The movies don't revolve around this character. He gets lines like
"Austin, the Cold War is over!" "Austin, we won!"
And when discussing time paradoxes, he said the line up top.

That must be Michael York's character in the Austin Powers movies, but I can't think of the character's name.

The moments preceding that line are a favorite in my home. To be specific, the best instant is the slight pause.
"THE HULK", as said in the first "Avengers" theatrical release from Marvel.
There were a lot of little moments I really liked in the movie. One also preceded this by seconds- the look Loki gave when he caught the arrow.

I haven't seen any "Despicable Me" movies, so I don't know any of the characters' names.
