Another tough one! I can only think of three actors who played Christ....but none of them played Daddy Warbucks.
Eliminate Jim Caviezel, Max von Sydow or Willem. I guess that could be considered a hint to the other players, so let me know if I shouldn't do that. (As in: "easier to beg forgiveness than permission")
No one had guessed that, but that is correct. Dylan Hunt was Sorbo's character in Andromeda. I would have eventually gotten to Hercules, but apparently there is no need. :-)
Miles Davis, cool blues musician.... black. Basher Tarr... unmistakably a British-sounding name.... who could play a black British guy and Miles Davis convincingly..... BT sounds like he might be the character from Oceans something, with the Cockney rhyming slang... The actor replaced Terrence Howard as Rhodey...
Thanks. Sometimes the brain cooperates, and sometimes it doesn't. In this case, "Basher Tope" sounds distinctly Cockney to me. In the movie, he said something in Cockney rhyming slang, then stopped and translated it for the Americans who had no idea what he meant.
"...and then we'll be all 'Barney.'" *stares* "Barney RUBBLE?" *stares* "We'll be in TROUBLE!"
I sometimes wonder how the heck Cockneys ever agree on the slang and understand each other in the first place. (As for Basher Tope sounding Cockney, I saw a comic with Captain Britain once, and a Cockney named Bash in it.)
Put that together with the actor having to be black, and I jumped to the conclusion that he played the guy in Oceans 11 and that was his name.
Hey- in my head, that was actually pretty straightforward!

He was looking for it to use as a clue in a game round a few weeks after he was looking for it. Meanwhile, I hope he posts the next one soon.

Well ... yeah. I was about 15 when it came out. (Saw it a couple of years later, when I was in college.) Fonda DID win the Best Actress Oscar for the performance. George

Unless I'm forgetting a Martin Stein, or thinking of the wrong one, that's VICTOR GARBER who played the mental half of Firestorm.

That's him. "Jack" Dawson was his character in TITANIC! (I think people have seen that one...)

Having just seen the (unsatisfying) finale of "Succession," I know it's

My recollection is that the clues for this one led to Kevin Sorbo.
That correct, George?
