I know I've seen some of these names. I remember thinking the name "Ariel Truax" reminded me of a kid's book called "Truax", but I forget who played her. Blanche Dubois. IIRC, is from "A Streetcar Named Desire", as well as any actress/actor conveying that role. (Woody Allen's Miles Monroe (the Sleeper) once thought he was her when he they tried to reverse the brainwashing already done on him.
This is a very famous actress, and the roles are from (primarily) her best-known films. Unfortunately, her roles don't have iconic names (except Blanche Dubois, but this was in a TV movie). I have been listing the roles in essentially chronological order, from earliest to latest. Maybe this timeline will help:
1962 Emily Porter to 1993 (and 1995) Ariel Truax.
She also voiced a parody character of herself on The Flintstones. THAT name would REALLY give it away.
That's him. I skipped all the ones that were recognized last time I tried Leo. Amazing how he played so many roles, but I think the only ones I'd recognize were Romeo Montague, Frank Abegnale Jr ("Catch Me If You Can"), Jack Dawson ("Titanic") and Jay ('the Great") Gatsby. And I've never seen that last one. :)
Unless two different characters were both named Jack Brynes then this has got to be Robert DeNiro. Neil McCauley is Heat. So yeah, its definitely Robert DeNiro. Jack Brynes was Meet the Fockers, the Parents, Little Fockers.

He was looking for it to use as a clue in a game round a few weeks after he was looking for it. Meanwhile, I hope he posts the next one soon.

Well ... yeah. I was about 15 when it came out. (Saw it a couple of years later, when I was in college.) Fonda DID win the Best Actress Oscar for the performance. George

I like this actor. I guess because I like the movies he's in.
Lyman is the role he played in K-9.
I used a television role figuring that he might be more recognized that way, specifically his role in Emergency as Paramedic Roy Sesoto.
Tilghman has a very similar reference to his real name Kevin Tighe from his character in Road House.
He played Blake Wilson in 48 Hours.
My Bloody Valentine his character was Ben Foley.

Name the character.
Jose Ferrer
Vincent Menjou Cortes
John Leguizamo
(No, this one should not be easy, but I thought I'd try a short round in between some others.)

No. Not a Spaniard, and he wasn't painted as a nobleman in any version of him that made it to the theaters.

Peter Sellers (sorta)
Règis Royer
Mel Brooks (sorta)
(I didn't think this would be so hard to win.... )
