Interesting guess. This actress is more recent that LB, though not a newcomer, by any means, and far more well-known for dramatic, rather than comedic, roles.
Vicki Anderson Evelyn Mulwray Lady Barbara Skelton
Helen Barton Serena Joy Marilyn Mickler
Mae West Edith Birnbaum Ariana Kane
Diana Christensen Kathy Hale Laura Scofield
If no one gets it from these, I'll add the giveaway roles.
I would have thought that Bonnie Parker (as in, "Bonnie and Clyde") and Laura Mars were giveaways. The others are names of her characters in her more famous movies (not necessarily with her as the star), so I doubt that running up any others, from obscure films, would help. If no one gets it by tomorrow, I'll give the answer and toss it up.
That's her. Penny Chenery is her character in Secretariat. Martha Kent her character in three movies, Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice, Man of Steel and Justice League.
Adrienne Willis in Nights in Rodanthe. Christina Cotter in The Perfect Storm. Connie Sumner in Unfaithful to name a few.
There were only 2 Danny Ocean's. Mrs Wolf and I watched the original "Oceans 11" together, and since she's a Sinatra fan, I figured you wouldn't try to slip him past me. (Especially since I named some of his roles previously and might recognize the names later.) The other was George Clooney. When it came to "Gecko", I was thinking Gordon and Wall Street, not the Gecko brothers (I thought of them after I hit "send".) They, of course, were the criminals trying to stay alive "From Dusk til Dawn."

He was looking for it to use as a clue in a game round a few weeks after he was looking for it. Meanwhile, I hope he posts the next one soon.

Well ... yeah. I was about 15 when it came out. (Saw it a couple of years later, when I was in college.) Fonda DID win the Best Actress Oscar for the performance. George

Ding Ding Ding! I've heard of Laura Mars. Just don't have the foggiest idea who this is.

I think there was a movie, "The Eyes of Laura Mars" in the early-to-mid 1970s. That's all I've got.
