The "Detective Nick Yemana" reminded me of an old show. I googled that show and saw the actor. I have to admit that I wouldn't have remembered his name without the googling, so perhaps I must recuse myself.

No, post the answer. If you remembered Keye Luke, you remembered an answer at least as difficult.

He was looking for it to use as a clue in a game round a few weeks after he was looking for it. Meanwhile, I hope he posts the next one soon.

Refreshing the page after submitting works, too. George

Well ... yeah. I was about 15 when it came out. (Saw it a couple of years later, when I was in college.) Fonda DID win the Best Actress Oscar for the performance. George

You would mention "the Shoveler" while I was out of town....

Whoever he is, he must like to play Asian characters.

No, but at this rate, the current guy should be guessed soon. More roles later today.

You want a career acting, you play to your strengths.
Christopher Walken's a trained song-and-dance man, but he's not going in for those roles
most of the time-not if he wants the job.
(But if you want to see him dance, look up Fatboy Slim's video for "Weapon of Choice.")

In almost all his roles, he was not a regular, but someone who appeared for one episode.
With the exception, he stayed in the role as a regular, but had to stop acting
due to dying inconveniently to his career.

Mako?

No, but perhaps I should have used him for sheer number of roles. Mako Iwamatsu passed away
10 years ago, after a long career, and used his legal name. The actor I chose did not,
and passed away a considerable time before that- although both actors did appear in
MASH, but in different episodes.

He was part of the principal cast of a television show when he died. As he was being wheeled to the operating room,
he told one of the other actors "It must have been the coffee." In context, it was a memorable joke.
(Both Mako and this actor did of esophageal cancer. Coincidence? Common bad genes? No idea.)
His legal name was "Goro Suzuki," which does not remind me of his stage name.

I think WW is just giving the names in small groupings to make it easier on the eyes.

That's him.
I remember him because he played a number of roles during that time.
He was in an episode of "the Odd Couple" as a wrestler from China,
and was in 2 episodes of "MASH" as 2 different characters.

Presumably, a stout actor.
"Sorak" sounds Vulcan, but I'm confusing him with Sarek and Surak. :)
Not sure, yet.

He might be described as "big-boned..."
It does indeed SOUND Vulcan, but is definitely NOT.
