I sat here wondering if "R" by itself was a typo. After I saw Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington on the list, I knew it wasn't a typo.
"JOHN CLEESE."
In the HP movies, he played "Nearly Headless Nick", aka Sir Nicholas etc. In the James Bond movies, he played R, who replaced "Q" in the exotic weapons division, Division Q. I forgot which letter he had, but it was definitely Cleese.
Where have i head "Archie Leach" and "Halfdan the Black" before?

Until I started this list, I thought Cleese's role in the Bond films was "Q" for quartermaster. But, since he succeeded Q, he's apparently R. "Archie Leach" was his role in "A Fish called Wanda." He was "Halfdan the Black" in "Erik the Viking."

He was looking for it to use as a clue in a game round a few weeks after he was looking for it. Meanwhile, I hope he posts the next one soon.

Well ... yeah. I was about 15 when it came out. (Saw it a couple of years later, when I was in college.) Fonda DID win the Best Actress Oscar for the performance. George
