It must have been later than you think George, I went back a half a dozen pages and I didn't see anything that you posted remotely like this present clue.
Actually I just found it. Rock N Roll is hear to stay. And actually, you didn't use it in Name That Tune. You used it in this thread George.

OK. I really couldn't give you guys anymore lyrics to this one because most of them contained the song title. So...... it was Cradle of Love by mister ~Billy Idol~ is he one,? I don't know.
But here's one that you will all recognize. Guaranteed!
I hear the train a comin'; it's ROLLIN' 'round the bend,

I said a hip hop, Hippie to the hippie,
The hip, hip a hop, and you don't stop, a rock it
To the bang bang boogie, say, up jump the boogie,
To the rhythm of the boogie, the beat.

I figured it wasn't this song, because the other parts didn't sound familiar.
If you had included part of the dinner disaster, I would have gotten it in a moment.
This is "Rapper's Delight", by the Sugar Hill Gang.

I 've got one.
I don't care if you hurt me some more
I don't care if you even the score
You can knock me I don't care
You can mock me I don't care
You can rock me just about anywhere
It's alright

Until you do, ...
Tried Peggy Sue
Tried Betty Lou
Tried Mary Lou
But I knew she wouldn't do
You got me rockin' and a rollin'
Rockin' an a-reelin'

There was nothing easy about it. Six pages back on the wrong thread. Anyway,
Now everyone must have some thought
That's going to pull them through somehow
Well the fires are raging hotter and hotter
But the sister's of the sun are going to Rock me

The road is filled with homeless souls
Every woman, child and man
Who have no idea where they will go
But they'll help you if they can
Now everyone must have some thoughtThat's going to pull them through somehow
Well the fires are raging hotter and hotter
But the sister's of the sun are going to Rock me
Oh people, look among you
It's there your hope must lie
There's a sea bird above you
Gliding in one place like Jesus in the sky
We all must do the best we can
And then hang on to that gospel plow
When my life is over, I'm going to stand before the father
But the sisters of the sun are going to Rock me now

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Well it burned like a ball on fire
When the rebel took a little child bride
To tease yeah, I know how to please you, yeah
Well my love starts a Rollin' train
You can't stop it
It ain't' in vain
I ain't nobody's fool
Come on shake up

Folsom Prison ~Johnny Cash~
That was too easy, right?
For now, I think I will roll' this tread back to Name that Tune.
See you over there.

Is anyone up for another one? George, Raf, WordWolf? Hint: It's not from The Moody Blues.
It has both words, rock and roll in it.
So, let's get to the point
Let's ROLL another joint
And let's head down the road
There's somewhere I gotta go
My old man was born to ROCK
He's still trying to beat the clock
Think of me what you will
I've got a little space to fill
