TOMMYZ
My wife and I are looking for good movies in the Christian / Biblical / Inspirational categories to watch. (nothing good on TV) It doesn't matter if it's recent or one from the Silent era as long as you think it's a good one. I'd love to hear your recommendations. WordWolf
If you want "good movies that the whole family can watch", I have a much longer list. In terms of religious movies, the only one that springs to mind for me is "Jesus" (1999). If there's more than 1 with that exact same name, it's one I liked for attempts at historical accuracy. It didn't "feel" like a soundstage, it felt like people and events. Depending on how you view it, some other movies fall into "inspirational." I think "Les Miserables" qualifies, depending on the version, since Valjean is given a second chance by a bishop, and he does his best to live properly and morally after that, even praying. Human without the bean
I would recommend "Remember The Titans".
TOMMYZ
What started this was someone telling my wife about "Heaven Is real." She then said she'd watch movies like that with me. She doesn't share my appreciation of Godzilla movies !
Raf
The original "Left Behind" is cheesy but watchable.
