It stars ONE of the stars of the Breakfast Club. A costar could be described as One Man. Although at the time, you may have been able to refer to him as half a man, depending on the liberties you want to take. Youth and all.
If you watch TOO much of this video, you'll see peeks at the movie. If you want to be a purist, listen but don't watch. But we're beyond the allowable cheating time, so feel free to watch if you're still stumped.

Again, if you could post an audio link, I might get it, but your clues (and WW's) aren't cutting it.

"Grease."
And if you're bored, note that I was reminded of this YouTube video...

Ok, got one.
"COLONEL BOGEY'S MARCH."
That's that marching tune that's WHISTLED.
In The Breakfast Club, the group whistled the tune early on when bored.
Among other movies that used it.
However, one movie is so connected with it that some people don't know the
correct name for it, and know it by the name of that movie.
And it's not a recent film, of course.

I can hear the song in my head; I'm just not sure of the movie.

Right track, wrong train.
It is a classic musical.

I keep picturing the school talent show in "the Addams Family",
but I know you're going for something else entirely.

I was not thinking of an Addams family movie. More like a royal family. A big royal family.

If it's the same movie, apparently it's "The King and I."
