I don't know if it's 1st or the 2nd to be honest. It is Austin Powers.
I think we need to call in a Referee.
Then officially, I would like it put in the record that the title was Austin Powers: International ManOf Mystery. Thank you your honor. :biglaugh:/>/>/>/>/>/>
And that would be incorrect. :)/>/>/>/>/>
Yes that is correct. I didn't know what order the Austin Power movies were in (I do now). That is true. This is a big mess. So taking this back to WordWolf's guess which George backed up, and my own lack for the details, I seem to have compounded both WW's and George's mistakes.[/b]
Right. Man of Mystery was the first film. "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me" is the correct answer.
I'm a little confused as to why Human was uncertain about this, since it's he who made the original post... :unsure:/>/>/>/>/>

Right and Wrong George. I didn't have the correct movie there and I am sorry about that. Suffice it say then that I lacked attention to details, but in actuality the answers whether in the right order or not were incorrect.
These clues were not from the first Austin Power's movie: IMOM, nor was it from the second movie Austin Powers: TSWSM. Would anybody like to try another guess?

"The Blues Brothers" comes to mind immediately. Not sure of the other one.

This might be a little tougher. I'm trying to use one that hasn't been done on this thread yet, but isn't a musical.

"The Karate Kid"?
I THINK that's the song during the montage of the All-Valley Tournament.

I remember the song rather well, but no movie in which to find it.
Wild guess
"Mr. and Mrs. Smith"?

No, but you're thinking there's a logic to it-which is a good line of thought.
Here's the lyrics.
==================
I was five and he was six
We rode on horses made of sticks
He wore black and I wore white
He would always win the fight
Bang bang, he shot me down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my baby shot me down.
Seasons came and changed the time
When I grew up, I called him mine
He would always laugh and say
Remember when we used to play?
Bang bang, I shot you down
Bang bang, you hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, I used to shoot you down.
Music played, and people sang
Just for me, the church bells rang.
Now he's gone, I don't know why
And 'til this day, sometimes I cry
He didn't even say goodbye
He didn't take the time to lie.
Bang bang, he shot me down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my baby shot me down...

Volume 1, yes.
The third verse inspired the opening scene- and the song opened Volume 1.
Your turn!
