To be fair then, I didn't think it was necessary, but in the interest of moving things forward the song is used in Vietnam movies a lot, ( but not the real one).
You were correct, of course. Technically, "Flashdance" is also the name of the song, and "What A Feeling" was the subtitle (and most memorable/obvious lyric).
Dude Looks Like a Lady...
Not sure how many movies it's in, but I remember it best from Mrs. Doubtfire

"Beverly Hills Cop" soundtrack.
IIRC, I may have had it on cassette once.
(Remember cassettes?)

According to Wikipedia, Run Through The Jungle as of 2008 has appeared in 7 different movies.
One is more obvious than any other, but any of them will do.

That wasn't on the list. IMO there is just one movie that the song really had a major impact.

To keep the game moving, cheating is allowed after 24 hours. But you gotta fess up. (Not really, but fess up anyway).

Staying Alive is a good example of a song that appeared in multiple movies but is best associated with one.
I think we'll all agree that Saturday Night Fever is the best answer.
There was, of course, a sequel: Staying Alive. And the song was in it.
And it was played as part of the bar scene in Airplane!
I didn't want to use specific examples in the rules post because it would ruin the opportunity to use those songs.
Anyway, whatever, back to our program: Run Through the Jungle
Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?

Well, considering that this movie had EVERY song in it, I'll take a stab at it:

For the sake of closure, other movies RTTJ were in are Air America, Rudy, The Big Lebowski, Rude Awakening, and Tropic of Thunder.

Need hints? The song is by Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark (aka, OMD)

Can you post a link to an audio file? I don't recognize the tune by name, nor am I familiar with OMD.

Is that the song at the end of "The Breakfast Club"?
I know which song it is, but I'm wondering what movie I've heard it in.
Lyrics:
If you leave, don’t leave now
Please don’t take my heart away
Promise me, just one more night
Then we’ll go our separate ways
We’ve always had time on our sides
Now it’s fading fast
Every second, every moment
We’ve got to, We’ve got to make it last
I touched you once, I touched you twice
I won’t let go at any price
I need you now like I needed you then
You always said we'd still be friends someday
If you leave I won't cry
I won't waste one single day
But if you leave don't look back
I'll be running the other way
Seven years went under the bridge
Like time was standing still
Heaven knows what happens now
You’ve got to, You’ve got to say you will
I touched you once, I touched you twice
I won't let go at any price
I need you now like I needed you then
You always said we'd meet again
I touched you once, I touched you twice
I won’t let go at any price
I need you now like I needed you then
You always said we’d still be friends
I touched you once, I touched you twice
I won’t let go at any price
I need you now like I needed you then
You always said we'd meet again someday
ohwoah ohwoah ohwoah ohwoah ohwoah
If you leave (ohwoah)
If you leave (ohwoah)
If you leave (ohwoah)
Don’t look back
Don’t look back
