The original plan for this movie was to turn it into a weekly HBO series. A pilot was shot, starring Kiefer Sutherland. But HBO passed on it.
Not that it wouldn't have been great, but the film was a major critical and box office success, launching the careers of two Australian actors who, until then, had been relative unknowns.
It was nominated for Best Picture and lost to a juggernaut, but it won best adapted screenplay and best supporting actress.
One of the plot devices, a brothel with a particular set of offerings, was actually modeled after a real brothel. But before you insult one of their offerings, it would be wise to make sure she's not really who she claims to be.
Add another comic book movie villain then. One of the stars played a Batman villain. Another, the one who one the Oscar, played a Batman love interest. Both well before this movie was made.
One, a minor character, went on to star in a hit TV series about a charmingly obnoxious know it all who fights crime while tracking down the serial killer who offed his wife and daughter.
One previously helped humanity advance in the space race to the point of initiating our first known visit from an alien race.
One was not Lana Turner, and not a hooker, but she played Lana Turner in the movie, but not a hooker.

Human without the bean
Why didn't you say that 2 days ago Mr. Wolf? Your right Rottie, They are pretty good. Makes it tough on me to get my 2 cents in.
Human without the bean
I was way off going with "The Terminal", except that it didn't have any articles of clothing in the title. I assume WordWolf is correct, but I'm not familiar with it. But that's not unusual.

Stallone. Also well-known for reprising his Rocky role. I can't see him in Eddie Murphy's role in BHC, though... George

The genre is crime.

Not a lot of roles for women in this movie, but one of the brothel employees won an Oscar for her performance. Um, performance as an actress.

Wait-HBO series?
Was this
"Tales from the Crypt-Bordello of Blood?"

No.
One of the original plans was to make it an HBO series, but THAT DID NOT HAPPEN.
Should have been more clear about that.
And no, not District 7 (or any other district).

One of the stars of the film, relatively unknown at the time, would go on to play Superman's father.
Another, better known than the first then, about as well known now, would go on to play Superman's human arch-enemy.
A third, fairly well known but not nearly as well known as the first two, would go on to play an Iron Man villain.

I'm guessing Russell Crowe, Kevin Spacey, and Mickey Roarke (or maybe Jeff Bridges); but no movie comes to mind.

Kevin Spacey as bald Lex Luthor, Jeff Bridges as bald Obadiah Stane, lots of bald villainous
masterminds. (Of course, this may have referred to Roarke or Rockwell, even.)
Was this "the Big Lebowski"? I think Bridges, and maybe Spacey, was in that. Maybe.

You got two out of three actors. The third is throwing you off.
I never said bald.

You didn't, but there's a lot of bald superhero villains.

Guy Pierce, Russell Crowe, and Kevin Spacey in a movie about a brothel.
No idea.

In a movie that included an escort service. Brothel might not be the right word. But prostitute would be.
Goodness, how many movies had those three people in it?

Not many, I suppose. I can't think of one.
