The 13th Warrior has the warriors face Grendel. Readers of Beowulf may recall the story had
3 monsters. Decades later, an elderly Beowulf faces a dragon. In the relevant part of
the story, the part I read in school twice (in different schools), Beowulf faces
Grendel and Grendel's mother. In Friday the 13th, who were the monsters? ;)
