Well, the second two-thirds would be "Sky High Anxiety." That might be the whole title, too, since you're hinting at a (semi-)stealth triple. I don't recognize the first movie; could it be called "Sky"?
In this TV movie, a convicted rapist, upon his release, stalks the family of his defense attorney. He encounters zombies who, having overrun the South, are making their way into California.

Four American soldiers in Iraq are caught in an ambush just two weeks before coming home. Much has changed when they do return home. One thinks he's a Scottish warrior fighting against England. Another finds that his wife is now a professional race car driver.

Ok. It's got a lot of detail, so I was confused at first. It sounds like 3 movies or shows because "Big Trouble in Little China" is that kind of movie. While humming the theme song, I was eventual

Here's another unnecessary triple.
Strictly speaking, it's not a "stealth" triple
in that I'm using 3 different names.
This movie is a send-up of secondary schools. A new teacher is recruited
to try to teach uninspired teenagers to like education in their
time at a school to train future superheroes. His job is bad enough,
but the school's also taken a Psychiatrist on staff, and he's
acrophobic- a problem when you have to FLY to reach the school!

Actors include Kurt Russell as one of the parents, Mary Winsted as one of
the students, Jon Lovitz as the new teacher, and Mel Brooks as the
Psychiatrist.

No, you named 1 and 3 and skipped 2, the spoof with the new teacher.
You definitely left out at least 1 word (technically 2) in the middle.
(Which should tell you what the last word "missing" is.)
It is indeed a semi-stealth triple. You'll understand when you have
the entire title.
You recognized 1 and 3 and still have the one in the middle to name.

Maybe there's a movie "High High"? The final puzzle then could be
"Sky High High Anxiety."

OK, then. (And I actually vaguely remember "High School High.")

Actually, naming it "High High" would have been fair also,
except people would have expected a drug movie.
Your turn.

Hm.
Is this "Dead Man (the) Walking Dead"?

No. This one isn't "recursive." As for the second half, think prequel to the show you mention.

I didn't realize the shows were connected.
Makes the first clue make sense now, since it seemed like "Cape Fear."
So, we have "Cape Fear the Walking Dead."

Stealth triple time, again.
In this tv-movie, a superhero acts as interstellar police.
He's killed- but eventually he is able to convince his sidekicks he can contact
them, and they bring his killer to justice.
He continues as a superhero-but now as a supernatural, spectral vigilante.
(Hey, this would totally work as a story!)

Actually, it sounds a lot like what happened to Green Lantern (Hal Jordan):
He was an interstellar cop.
He was killed (as Parallax, by Green Arrow), but came back, appearing to Ollie Queen and others.
After saving the world from the Sun-Eater (and dying again), he came back as the Spectre.
(Now, he's back to being Green Lantern.)

I liked it better when he was the Spectre.
But, yes, that does sound familiar.
