Game: Before & After (Movies and TV)

Personally, I found both "Fantastic Voyage"'s easy to remember.

The movie is memorable on its own, whether or not I've seen it.

The cartoon used to be aired after school.

Considering how few episodes there were, I'm amazed they aired

them as much as they did.

(They're on YT if you're curious.)

And yes, that narrator is Ted Knight, which was common at the time.

A family of vampires fights to protect a human-vampire hybrid from super-intelligent apes in the wake of a pandemic that has wiped out a considerable percentage of the world's human population.

The second half is Twelve Monkeys, so the vampire movie should end in Twelve (or, possibly, begin with Monkeys).

George

Any chance this is some kind of triple? Otherwise, that may not be the correct movie.

I've heard of a lot of even obscure vamp flicks, and none mention 12 or monkeys

that I know of. And I doubt Raf is going to go THAT obscure without a warning

if at all.

Sorry for the delay in responding.

The second one is NOT 12 Monkeys. But Monkeys is close.

Both movies are sequels. Both are relatively recent.

Because of how the first movie was made and released, you need to ignore an inconsequential bit of the official title.

Ok, let me try this.

Skipping "Underworld" because Michael Corvin isn't the only vampire hybrid out there.....

"Twilight: Breaking Dawn of the Planet of the Apes."

(Was there a "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes"?)

I'm thinking "Part 1" is inconsequential for individual rounds.

That was correct. The movie described is Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, but yes, that is correct.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was the most recent seprequel.

Howzabout Secret Red Dawn of the Planet of the Apes???

Love,

Steve

A. That would work if there had been a movie or television show named

"Secret Red" or "Secret Red Dawn."

B. If there had been, just giving the name would have invalidated the

round, since there would have been no title to guess.

In case you missed it, we're meshing titles from existing movies/television,

past or present, and meshing descriptions of their plots.

Almost all of them have been doubles, one before and one after.

Occasionally, I throw in a 3rd name to entertain myself.

This time, a woman with a history of leaving jilted fiancees at the altar

flees and crosses the US-she enters an illegal cross-country race.

Stars of this movie include Julia Roberts, Richard Gere, Burt Reynolds and

Dom de Luise.

(Title order police, bug off.)

The first half, i.e., the second part of the clue wink.gif is easy enough. But the only Julia Roberts/Richard Gere movie which I know is "Pretty Woman," and that doesn't fit the word OR the clue.

George

The one in the clue with Richard G and Julia R is called Runaway Bride. There was a movie with the other two clues called The End.

Oh sorry, this is not the Mash up thread.
