The middle one seems vaguely familiar, but since this is a "stealth" triple, I assume that the middle one isn't really necessary. And I won't get the cartoon part without googling. :(

Actually, the one that's technically "the middle one" is the one
you got without effort. And the other one really should be memorable to
you, since forgetting that particular film is becoming the Abe Vigoda of

Well, one thing I hate about this game is when one person knows the one title, the other person knows the second, but neither knows both. Maybe George can figure it out from here. If not, I'll have to come up with nine other things.

Ok. It's got a lot of detail, so I was confused at first. It sounds like 3 movies or shows because "Big Trouble in Little China" is that kind of movie. While humming the theme song, I was eventual

Yes, once upon a time, we did this one.

I'm embarrassed that it's been less than a year to re-tread that one.
Anyway, WW's up!

Here's a triple.
In this animated (?) TV movie,
we follow the life of a boy/man.
As a young teen, he discovers an alien device that allows him to transform
into alien forms.
As an older teen, he has to find an un-date-able girl in school a date so he
can date her younger sister.
As an adult, he goes through a mid-life crisis and becomes infatuated with
this blonde married woman he meets.

Well, at least I know the last one, now. I suspect that we have overlapping digits, rather than words, here. :)

Here's a stealth triple.
In this animated (?) TV movie,
we follow the life of a boy/man-Benjamin Tennyson.
As a young teen, he discovers an alien device (the Omnitrix) that allows him
to transform into alien forms.
As an older teen, he has to find an un-date-able girl in school a date so he
can date her younger sister (somewhat like an easily-forgotten takeoff
of Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew.")
As an adult, he goes through a mid-life crisis and becomes infatuated with
this blonde, cornrow-wearing married woman he meets.
Actors include Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger, and Bo Derek.

a decade of continuous appearances.

Does the answer only work phonetically?

No.
The titles, as written normally, work completely as a "stealthy triple" should.
(1 & 3 could fit together, there's no articles in between any of them.)
You just need the 3 (2) names, and you need to put them in the correct order
of the titles (which is not necessarily the order of the description,
which otherwise would get too convoluted.)

Side note: Although the title of the first show is occasionally written one way,
it is almost always written another way.
(I even glanced at it once and mispronounced it for an instant because
of the standard way of writing it.)

Well, the cartoon is "Ben 10." The Bo Derek movie is, of course, "10." I don't know the other film.

That's it.
It amazes me that every time I mention "10 Things I Hate About You",
I keep getting a reaction like nobody's ever heard of it.
I like trying to make successful triples.
Your turn, George.
