After learning that fairy tale characters are real and that he holds the key to breaking them out of a curse, a member of a temporal integrity security agency goes back to the past to set things right.
In this futuristic dystopian action flick, the last son of Krypton is framed for a ghastly crime and forced to compete in a life-or-death game show pitting him against a series of colorfully attired gladiators.

Ok. It's got a lot of detail, so I was confused at first. It sounds like 3 movies or shows because "Big Trouble in Little China" is that kind of movie. While humming the theme song, I was eventual

A multinational group of martial artists sounds like "Mortal Kombat." Even if that's right, I'm pretty clueless on the rest.

It may sound like it, but you're playing the wrong game there.
And really, you've probably seen the other movie but my description was vague.

It's a musical, some of the time.

Yes. When WW's clue mentioned tricking people into cannibalism, I first thought of "Soylent Green," though that was New York, not London.
Incidentally, Soylent Green is the first thing I think of when I hear the term "Human Resources."

I believe there was a story-arc in a comic book similar to that,
with Superman on War-World competing.
Should come as no surprise by now, of course.
There's only so many ideas out there, and with 4-5 Superman comics per month
at one point, there's bound to be some overlaps
when it's showtime.
