It was "Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer" (1984-1985), though I would also have accepted "The New Mike Hammer" (1986-1987) or "Mike Hammer, Private Eye" (1997-1998).
Well, I remember a brief bit on the Jon Lovitz cartoon, "The Critic," where STNG actors appeared on "Hee Haw, the Next Generation." (The image of Worf playing spoons on his thigh is indelibly burned into my memory.) Maybe they did the same thing with the Love Boat.

I'm not clear what your point is then. I don't think I'm much older than anyone here. I thought the whole point of this game was to stir memories ,and realize-'oh yeah-I do remember that show !' I'm

In the "Jump the Shark" episode of Batman B&B, they go through all of the ways to JTS listed on that website, including having Ted McGinley on! George

C) The DC/Fawcett character must be Captain Marvel, now known as Shazam. I think the show is Beat Shazam George

Indeed.
The 70s had some shows I've missed since then.
I wonder if some will turn up online.

Keach actually had three shows based on this detective. He was only in jail during the first. :)

I connected Stacy Keach with Mike Hammer, but couldn't remember the name of any
show with Mike Hammer in it. Oops.

This '90's re-tread of a 70's series starred Robert Urich, Phil Morris, and Joan Severance.

Although Joan Severance's role was new, Urich's and Morris's were updates of Gavin McLeod's and Fred Grandy's...

I forgot they redid that television show.
This reminds me of the running gags concerning the "primitive" island of Kooeykooeykooey.
This was the new version of "the Love Boat."

Indeed. There was one episode bringing back the old crew (except for Grady, who was in Congress), which I really enjoyed.
Of course, I really enjoy ANYTHING with Joan Severance in it!

I remember that moment as Worf playing Hambone. (Twice in the episode, IIRC.)
However, that is not the series I'm talking about here.

William Shatner operated the USS Enterprise as a restaurant
as Captain Kirk?
Yes, according to the same show- which had a patron needing the
Heimlich Maneuver.
"Dammit, Jim, I'm a doctor, not-oh."

These might be parody skits from

They are indeed.
The actors in question played in those scenes.
The sight of Dana Carvey dressed as Khan, with a food inspector, trying to shut down
the restaurant, was enough to crack up the audience.

Although the lead character's name was "Suzanne," she went by "Pepper," making her "Sgt. Pepper."

Was this an example of "the character shares the first name ofthe actress"?

No.
As was common for female cop roles at the time, she usually went undercover as a hooker, and often had to be bailed out by her male partner.
