Seems that a lot of people are making shows based on rebuilding businesses.

Some expert visits the business, chats with the staff and owner,

fix their attitudes, and usually do some or lots of remodeling to the

physical location to make it a more successful business.

Besides the first one, there have been, so, far, shows to save:

A) local places to buy pastries and cakes

B) local places to buy cars

C) local places to decorate your skin permanently

Name any. (And name the one that I didn't describe, that became the model

for the others, for bragging rights.)

I can think of a couple. There is the popular Bar Rescue that turned failing bars into thriving bar joints. Before that show, I'm not sure if it's the one you want for bragging rights but it was called Hotel Impossible where the host restores dilapidated hotels, basically reinvented them.

I don't recall the name of the show about the Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, I used to watch it though.

The food network has a show called Restaurant Stakeout where they save businesses from going under.

Another on the food network is called Cupcake Wars, but I'm not sure if it saves bakeries or not.

"Restaurant Stakeout" doesn't match any description I gave, as restaurants, as a rule,

are neither places to buy pastries and cakes, nor vehicles/cars, nor get your skin decorated.

(I did a question on "Restaurant Stakeout" before, but it's also a different show in that

it doesn't change the locations at all-just retrains the boss and/or staff.)

As for "Cupcake Wars", it's a head-to-head baking competition.
