When people throw the TRILLION dollar number around....

THIS is what it looks like.

ONE TRILLION DOLLARS

:o :o :o

One hundred dollar bills......1/2 thick = $10,000

$100 bills in small grocery bag.......$1,000,000

10 pallets of $100 bills..............One Billion

Double-stacked pallets covering about the size of a football field.......One Trillion

National Debt is $14.3 Trillion..........and counting.

Is it time to get SERIOUS.........??

It's all relative. Without more information I don't know to be worried or not.

Well.....it might be relative to the U.S. guvmint...

....but if I were borrowing $18.80 a minute on my mortgage, I seriously doubt that I'd ever get my mortgage paid off in full.

:biglaugh:

Looks like quite a lot of these: Link 1

Or you could spend it here: Link 2 and do something more useful.

And this is probably where the interest paid on the money owed by the US is being spent, by the lender: Link 3
