After perusing the different song threads i thought this might be appropriate. Given a song, (obviuosly it has to be a known song) give the author of it. Such as "White Christmas" the answer would be Irving Berlin. Ok first song is "The Pusher"performed by Steppenwolf. It might be best to give the artist that did the song in order to differentiate between songs of identical names.
No the answer I believe was in a different thread. Same Artist and same author. The Artsit and Author are different inthis case but the Artist sang two of the author's songs.

cool thread
But I'm clueless on this one.
Was it written by a blues artist?

Nope and Nope. I wouldn't classify him as a Blues artist, more progressive Country.

One last shot if that's okay...how about Kris Kristofferson? For an extra piece of pie, I'll say he also wrote Snowblind.

actually the authour did write "SnowBlind Friend" but it's not Kris Kristofferson. Same type of artist (meaning genre) though.

The answer is (drum roll please) Hoyt Axton. He wrote it in 1963.<p>

I never would have gotten that.
Here's one: "Hound Dog". Guess the author.
I suspect no one will get it (except maybe Waysider).
