I wonder what Pink Floyd would have sounded like with sid through the years;

if sid hadn't did what he did, a lot of songs are about sid. David Gilmore knew

where he wanted to go without sid songs, seems Gilmore got burned out on sid,

kinda like sid trip out on acid?

I doubt if there would or could have been any 'years'. It apparently got pretty bad with Barrett showing up if he wanted to, being on stage, playing nothing and wandering around aimlessly, and being so self centered and self indulgent that the band had to either let him go or dissolve.

It is crazy how much Roger Waters wrote about Sid, regardless of Sid's ways;

maybe Gilmore remember the old Sid, and took Pink Floyd forward, breaking

the Sid cycle? Cool Sid songs though?

I understand that as a musician he was brilliant.. at least that seems to be the story..
