You made it too difficult for me in the first list of songs, there where 3 songs I really love. I had to vote for all 3.
BTW, my vote for best song would go to one you didn't list. :(

My favorite is "Michelle" I just didn't feel like answering all the parts of the poll.
As far as "A Day in the Life" is concerned, if I want a fatalistic tune, I'd prefer "Eleanor Rigby."
I'm much more fond of early Beatles than later.

Impossible to choose. I love them all.
It's easier to pick the Beatle's songs I don't like:
All Together Now
Yellow Submarine
Good Morning, Good Morning
Revolution 9

A beautiful cover. A little slow though, but the man was close to 70.

Well George I prefer the more up tempo stuff myself. Sorry you don't feel like participating. Could be fun.
I looked up Rolling Stone mags top ten list (that's all they revealed for now) and I found them to be the most predictable Beatles songs. Something, Come Together. Let it be, Hey Jude.
Can't say that I actually have any songs of the beatles that I don't like.. :(
Well you did say soulsearcher that you love them all. To each is own. You don't have to like their songs. This is just a poll.
You don't have to chose if you don't want.

Okay, I thouhgt about it alittle bit this afternoon. My first inclination would be "I Want to Hold Your Hand" because it's the first one I remember hearing. And then there's All My Loving and I Saw Her Standing There.
But those only qualify as my favorite early Beatles song.
From their later work I'd have to consider several songs from "Abbey Road" including; Oh Darling, Something, Here Comes the Sun, You Never Give me Your Money, and the Golden Slumbers-Carry That Weight segue.
And of course there's a helluva lot of great stuff in between "Meet the Beatles" and "Abbey Road".
I will give this some more thought.

Might be interesting to extend this to favorite album.
My first choice is Rubber Soul, with Revolver close behind it.
Edit: The reason I put this out there is because each album is like a work unto itself. Thematic, in a sense.

Favorite album without question is Abbey Road. 2nd favorite would be Hard Day's Night with Beatles '65 running a close 3rd.

Ah yes! What is the favorite album of choice by the Beatles. Well, I can remember a few years ago now, that that consensus was Rubber Soul. Another poll done by somebody. May have even been RS magazine.
However, personally I would have to choose Let It Be, followed by the White Album. Although, Let It Be was really the end for them, and so much has been said about the bitterness that went along with producing this album, I find myself always turning that album up the most. :)
Both albums share a lot of wittiness, Lennon's humor, McCartney's love songs, and Harrison's guitar solo's and each have their share of classic beatle songs too. :B)
This afternoon, caught myself singing One After 909 after I notice a serial number on some merchandise I was distributing. #909.

I guess no other people feel like you Maddy! Seems the poll is too tedious.

I can't get past deciding whether I like early (Meet the Bealtes/Please Please me), middle (Revolver/Rubber Soul) or late-period (White Album/Abbey Road) Beatles best.

When you decide soul searcher why not place your vote!
As it sits, the poll has no song with the most. Your vote could be the one to dertermine which Beatles song is the favorite of all time. No pressure.

Is that too subtle?

See, my problem is that I can't even decide which is my favorite song on that album. It's between Norwegian Wood and In My Life.
When I was younger it used to be "You Won't See Me".
"Michelle" is classic McCartney tunesmithing.
"Run for Your Life" is dark and foreboding.
"Nowhere Man" was on the UK release. I love that song, too.

I know what your saying waysider. That's why Rubber Soul was picked (by popularity) as the #1 beatles album some years back.
Classic album with Lennon and McCartney trading vocals. Norwegian Wood might just be my favorite beatles song. Several ( about 8) songs from the Rubber Soul album received a lot of radio time. Michelle, Run For Your Life, In My Life, Norwegian Wood, Girl, were all played a lot and are all classic beatle hits.
Harrison's song If I Needed Someone blows my mind. Wait Lennon and McCartney's, is equally as good as any of them.
Drive My Car is a super tune too!
Rubber Soul is a masterpiece!

I'm just getting around to reading the list.
My first impression: "A Day in the Life", while definitely an excellent song and a Rock classic, probably wouldn't make my top ten list.
But their #2 pick, "I Want to Hold Your Hand", would definitely qualify, IMO.

Gen-2
Although I picked songs I like, that I know from the titles.... many of the song titles I did not pick might be ones I like better. I have probably heard them but just don't remember what the song sounded like from the titles... (hey I was born in 1980).
So I cry out FOUL! No Fair!!! Shakes her fist at the older generation!!!
