First week was wonderful, exciting, tedious, exhausting.....I LOVED it!!!
Mondays and Tuesdays I leave work early to go to the internship until 8:30 at night...then home.
I am in intake, which means I get all the info from each potential client, interview them, figure out their mental health needs and put them in the program that meets those needs.
Wednesday, Thursdays, and some Fridays I have class at night and get home between 9 and 10 pm.
Saturdays is for errands and grocery shopping and on Sundays I cook all day for suppers for the coming week (I'm cooking from Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking from the film Julie and Julia) Cooking is my relaxation....I love it and the food is incredibly yummy!!!!
I also just started a new job teaching at a therapeutic day school....my students are all male from a residential sex offender program. My first full day of teaching was Tuesday and it is going VERY well!!! Love the people I work with, they all care so much about these kids...it's rewarding to work with them after my last job where petty bickering, cliques, and backstabbing were the standard operating procedure.
