While we probably don't agree on what all that means in the real world, I think it was a wonderful way for one to make their exit from this life - for her as well as her loved ones.
You're right Rascal, it does go counter to what we were taught. Some day we'll know the whole truth but for now I'll think of it as a gift to Edith and her family.
Thanks for sharing that... What a beautiful thing to have happen.
I think your prayers went much further than you could ever know. Pancreatic cancer is excruciatingly painful.A dear friend of mine died from it. How glorious to have this kind of an ending in the face of such a painful condition.
I too know of people who have died with the words "simply amazing" or similar wonderment. . . . passing away in awe of something. I don't know. It makes you wonder.
A woman at our church who died on the operating table. . . . she had a stroke. . . . told me what happened to her. . . she said she met the Lord. Talked to Him. He sent her back . . . . according to her. I don't think she is crazy and she truly believes it. . . . she was dead and revived. Who knows?

Ill lift a hearty amen to what George said
I have no idea what is on 'the other side' but that certainly is a comforting and graceful way to go both for her and her family.
Have a good journey Edith

What an experience for those who were there.

When its my time I would like to be met by Frank Zappa and ride around with him surveying his dental floss ranch in Montana.

Yeah, well, watch out where the huskies go and don't you eat no yellow snow.
