Considering the Cult Awareness Network was hostilely taken over, and is now run by the Cult of Scientology, I don't much listen to anything that comes from them. Even if they are right about TWI, the hypocrisy is way to thick.
In my opinion, she is absolutely correct in stating that the lifestyle is primary and the specific "doctrines", such as 4 crucified, the 6 denials, etc., are peripheral. When she talked about sleep deprivation, dietary modifications, isolationism, social restrictions and communal lifestyle in general , she was accurately describing my experience in Fellow Laborers. I suppose someone else may view their involvement in a different light but that's my take on it.

There were only slight changes to my lifestyle and only in the presence of others in TWI. I didn't drink bad coffee except at TWI gatherings and I certainly didn't lower the protein in my diet or become sleep deprived. There appeared to be more of what the person was describing at the WoW and corp level. It was worse when we were closer to the limb, but when we were further away we didn't seem to have so much (attempted) direct influence on our daily lives.

We had no say in the matter.
Those items were directives that came with the program as a "package deal".

Nevermind, this appears to be a woman prior to Scientology's takeover of CAN. I will just leave this here anyway.

Lots of solid information in there.

Thanks I didn't know that! How weird is that? However Waysider said this was prior to that so it is GOOD

I think probably for just people who came to TWIG it was comfortable and easy but it changed
when we went out on the "field".
