Fifteen-hundred people went into the sea... There were twenty boats floating nearby... and only one came back. One. Six were saved from the water, myself included. Six... out of fifteen-hundred. Afterward, the seven-hundred people in the boats had nothing to do but wait... wait to die... wait to live... wait for an absolution... that would never come.
It's like going on a date with a Chatty Cathy doll. I expect you have a little string on your chest, you know, that I pull out and have to snap back. Except I wouldn't pull it out and snap it back - you would. Agh! Agh! Agh! Agh!

I've never heard that line George. Except for that reference about
the other 750 souls waiting to die, I thought the TITANIC lost about 1500
so I was going to guess Titanic. Now, not sure. Is it Titanic?

Sounds kind of like one of Quint's soliloquies from Jaws to me.

It is without a shadow of a doubt Titanic.
Quint's boat didn't lose nearly as many people.

Nope. Think seasonal.
This should give it away.

This is a well-known movie, and, for me, it's a memorable line. Hopefully, it will be as obvious to others...

"Rocky IV"
"Hello, HAL. Do you read me, HAL?"
"Affirmative, Dave. I read you."
"Open the pod bay doors, HAL."
"I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that."
