I'm afraid. I'm afraid, Dave. Dave, my mind is going. I can feel it. I can feel it. My mind is going. There is no question about it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I'm a... fraid. Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you.
(My rule of thumb is still: if people who never saw the movie would recognize it from that, then it's a good clue. I've recognized a number of movies on this thread, but haven't seen them.)
Nope. This was on last night. (On Oxygen I think).
This is not THE most famous line from the movie, but it leads up to it. It's near the beginning of the climactic courtroom confrontation between Col Nathan Jessup and Lt. Daniel Kaffee.
"No, I don't think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That's what's wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how."

Hello, Mr.Wolf, I'd like you to meet my wife Mrs. Human. She's loves those movies.

Of course. I was going to go with "Daisy,Daisy giv-e m-e-e-e y-o-u-r-r-r a-a-n-n-n-s-s-w-e-e-r-r-r..." but that might have been a bit obscure. :)
Your turn!

If anything in this life is certain, if history has taught us anything, it is that you can kill anyone.

Which means never mess with another man's girl. Rhubarb in this context being a sweet dish. He was speaking of Vicki Vale.
Just thought you'd like a little background. In case you thought he ment something else.

It does seem familiar, but I can't quite place it.

Not White Christmas.
This one has some great music but it's not a musical.

I'm pretty sure I've never heard this line before or I would remember it. Goes to show someone's favorite line may not be that familiar to another's.
