"Doe, a deer, a female deer; Ray, a drop of golden sun..."

George

"The Sound of Music."

True story... Someone was explaining about an accident with his car. He was driving around the wilderness- on the back-roads-  when he veered to avoid hitting a *mumble*.

Me: "A what?"

Him: "A doe. A deer. A female deer."

Me: "Ray, a drop of golden sun."

Then we both cracked up.

Clue

"Honestly... I think we're gonna be dead way before that. And you know what? I don't mind. It's an honorable end. But we've gotta shut Steppenwolf down. Superman's a no-show. You've got no powers, no offense.  This guy might be working for the enemy. We don't know.  You're tripping over your feet, and mine...  Whuf, you're gorgeous, and fierce... and strong."

Actually, that quote was from International Man of Mystery, but go ahead.

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (but, probably any of them)

Like I said, probably any of them.  I'm certain Austin Powers used a similar line in all the movies, maybe not exact but something like the line you quoted George.  So thank you, I will go ahead.

Let's see then, something that isn't from Shawshank Redemption. Huh,

"Shaken not stirred"

Ah, "Casino Royale?????"

I'm not sure that the Daniel Craig Bond actually drinks martinis.  Don't know if David Niven did, either.

I do believe this (part of) a line was used in multiple Bond films, though, so you may be right.  I'd have gone with an earlier one, Like Goldfinger or Dr. No.

Correct.  Apparently the first Bond film to use the line was "Dr. No" when it was used twice but not spoken by Bond (Sean Connery).  The first use of "Shaken not stirred" by James Bond was in "Goldfinger".

["Shaken, not stirred" is how Ian Flemings fictional British secret agent James Bond prefers his martini cocktail.  Wikipedia.]

And, for any James Bond trivia buffs here, it was mis-quoted and re-missed in "You Only Live Twice" when the bartender offers the drink to Bond (Sean Connery) "Stirred, not shaken" and Bond replies "perfect".

WordWolf you're up.

*checks*

Human without the Bean is being generous with me.  In the newer "Casino Royale", Bond was asked if he wanted his martini "shaken or stirred." His reply was "Do I look like I give a damn?"

I thought the drink was offered "shaken not stirred".  Apparently, H w/o Bean judged it close enough to count, which was nice of him.   On the other hand, now it's my turn again, let's see....

I went as far to *fact check* (after thinking I might watch it) and yes, the quoted line, "shaken, not stirred" was used in "Casino Royale", by the waiter.
