Human without the bean
Hello, Mr.Wolf, I'd like you to meet my wife Mrs. Human. She's loves those movies.
RottieGrrrl
But you are right, perhaps this should be a movie mashup clue. but I would get this movie from one line, lol.

You said I have a plethora of piñatas. Why would you say that, if you do not know what a plethora is?

Forgive me, El Guapo.
I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education.
But, could it be that-once again- you are angry at something else,
and are looking to take it out on me?

Ok, seriously,
I hoped we'd remind someone else.
This was "the Three Amigos."
In fact, this very scene came up with someone when I was explaining the difference
between "pletho" and "pleroo".
BTW, there was an issue of the comic book "El Diablo" where someone was setting
up piñatas, and someone else said they had a lot of them, and a third person
said they would even say he had a plethora of piñatas.

It was obviously memorable enough that WW and I could recite the whole dialogue. :)

"Ferris Buehler's Day Off"
I wouldn't have gotten it from that quote, except that it was used before... :)
As I recall, I opposed your enlistment in Starfleet. It is possible that judgment was incorrect.

You know Ferris Buehler actually had 9 days off. 10 if you include his fab four day. Don't know about this clue?

"This is my 9th sick day.
If I go for 10, I'll have to barf up a lung- so I'd better make this one count."

(The line is only memorable because of the reaction of the person addressed., Still there aren't THAT many movies which talk about Starfleet.)

The next-to-last movie, I'm thinking, Abrams' first one.

No. One of the original series.

Ok, the phrasing suggests who said it, but who was it said about?
If it wasn't the one I was thinking, then it was probably said about
Valeris, which would make this
"Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country."
(Had to be even-numbered because it didn't suck.)

You're right about the "even" part. But it's not ST VI.)
The next part of the conversation is:
"Do you have a message for your mother?"
"Yes. Tell her I feel...fine."

That means it HAS to be "Star Trek 4-the Voyage Home."

Indeed. Sarek tells Spock that he might have been wrong, causing amazement in Spock.
You're up.

It might well be a quote from Corps Week. However, that was never a movie.
(Would have been something, though...)
It is indeed "Network."
