I googled it last night before I posted just to be sure it wasn't one of those lines that were used in another movie, which, of course had it been, I would have recused myself.
So I'll go without confirmation.
This quote is going to reach back into nostalgia!
"I think you are filthe! I think you are scum! You are a degenerate"!
If you had included "plastic" with the sentence, I might have recognized the quote.
This thread is SUPPOSED to go for the obvious.
In the vein of "Songs remembered from just one line" I thought I'd add one for films. The idea here is that a line from a film is so memorable that it immediately identifies the film. (In lieu of a single line, a short exchange between characters is acceptable.) The movie itself, of course, should be fairly well-known. For example, if I give the line: "Be good, be gone, or be dead." anyone who has seen "Traxx" would immediately recognize it. Unfortunately, very few people have seen "Traxx," so it wouldn't be a fair clue for this game. The burden here is on the clue-giver. You are not trying to be tricky, but to be as obvious as possible. Note that some movies may have a LOT of usable one-liners.(snip)

Seriously, WordWolf your giving me the if ONLY I had included the word............ you might have got it. And you post the first thread on HOW to play the game according to the rules. Hey WordWolf, why don't you just say that instead of waiting 7 days before you make a remark.
I'm sorry, maybe I've had to much to drink but I'm not playing that way. That line is iconic. I could have used the word Benjamin after it too, but I didn't want to give it completely away. I'll give you this. Both the lines I used were a little vague. I think you should give me some credit for trying to keep the thread alive. You can only post "Here's looking at you kid" so many times before this thread drops dead. And no disrespect. But I will play this game the way that I want to, and that's by not giving you the last word.
It's not just a matter of giving the last word of a clue. It's a matter of giving enough of the clue that anyone should be able to get it.
In the case of "The Graduate," you might have gotten away with ONLY "Plastics" as the clue; but the rest of the line isn't really obvious, without that word.
In this case, you don't need to finish with "good," because it's the first part of the line that gives it away.

Hello, Mr.Wolf, I'd like you to meet my wife Mrs. Human. She's loves those movies.
RottieGrrrl
But you are right, perhaps this should be a movie mashup clue. but I would get this movie from one line, lol.
WordWolf
Ok, next movie.
"The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and..."
"Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?"
"Exactly."
"Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?"
"Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten."

George, I thought you were the one who posted this the first time I ever heard it? It's been posted a few times now. No, wrong movie.
This is Spinal Tap.

I remember seeing it recently, but I didn't post it.
There was a similar line in "Mr Mom" about electrical current.

Although George is right, I'm going to jump in out of turn with a not-so-subtle commentary on the current status of this thread:

Julius and Vincent, driving in "Pulp Fiction."
BTW, I don't know about Europe, but South America is on the metric system,
and McDonalds' locations sell Quarter Pounders and Double Quarter Pounders.
(In Spanish, Quarto Libra con Queso, Doble Quarto Libra con Queso.)
Oddly enough, some foods are the same (Angus Bacon, CBO) and some get new
names completely (McNifica, no idea what it is, just that it's not a Big Mac-
that's a Grande Mac.)
