(I stumbled across it by accident, I didn't do a search.)
RoboCop is kind of a cult classic. Good triumphs over evil.
The line comes at the end of the movie. Lois, Robo's partner, has questions about how things will go in the future when the mega corporation OCP takes over the city. She asks Robo "what 'll we do Murphy" and as RoboCop uses a socket wrench on his head to piece himself back together he says "Patience Lois, were only human". I thought it was a classic line.

But you are right, perhaps this should be a movie mashup clue. but I would get this movie from one line, lol.

That's been sub-referenced so many times I can't connect it to even 1 movie.

Human without the bean
I used this one a while ago now, but no one got it, (not 100% certain about that).
Classic Movie, very popular movie the kind you can watch over and over.
Your Abe Froman, the sausage King of Chicago?
("OH Human"), I know what you going to say that this line is not the most popular,
but try thinking outside the bun a little. I just ate Taco Bell tonight.
If anyone can't think of it, try this one.

No. The Abe Froman line is perhaps my personal favorite
of the movie.
The other is IMO the most popular line of the movie.

Both, actually, ARE pretty well-known lines from the movie,
usually for different people.

This may or may not help. The line is the last line of this movie.

It's a cop movie and the word Cop is actually in the title.

I'm guessing no one has a clue then? If Raf was around I think he would know. So would WordWolf.
I don't want to hog the boards. I've given half the answer already. ______ COP? Anyone?

Well, I don't think it's "Maniac Cop" or "Kindergarten Cop," so I have no idea.

Oddly enough,
I have "ROBOCOP" on DVD, but I've never actually sat down to watch it.
(There are a few movies like that.)
I recognized the quote now because they're considering remaking the thing
and I came across an online description that included a quote we just saw.
