part of me really wants to put them in my fire pit.......but, I just can't bring myself to destroy books , no matter how lethal they are...
True, so true!
And this feeling is totally different than TWI's "Burn the Chaff" day. Remember those folks? They tried to use that section in Acts (Ch. 19, is it? I don't feel like looking it up myself) to justify that mentality.
Gawd, all we needed then was a bunch of Stormtrooper uniforms, and we were all set for Wierwille's Fourth Reich.
I know, I have a load of these sort of books and things, too. They'd cost a tidy pile if I were to go out and buy them all now (not that TWI would let me, probably!).
I don't want to study/read them, hate to burn them, not a ready market for sale, but can't bear to give them away to a charity shop - who knows what effect they could have on some poor soul?
As it happens they are in another country from where I now live, but the person in whose house they are wants me to decide what to do with them. Is it worth shipping them, so that I can have my own burn the chaff day? Do I want to clutter up my house with stuff I'll never look at?
However the AoS video has already met a fiery doom.
I know! I'll ship the books to Bliss and she can put them with her books.... (ducking for cover)...
I sold mine on ebay after a house cleaning, there is actually a market out there since they are hard to get. Probably not the best way but I'm sure no buyers were blind to the content if you bid on it you knew what it was.

How do the buyers pay you? Do they submit via PayPal and then you mail them or how does that work?
No market for them in the countries where I've lived, but checking on ebay last night seems to show them on offer for $13 and upwards, softback. Mine are hardback and in VGC (the 5th collateral, due to the fact that I only read it once for the AC pre-exam!!).
Maybe I can recoup some of my lost outlay.
Bliss, sounds like an offer you can't refuse from Coolchef.

We had our (uncle harry bonfire)if you get my drift! 30 yrs ago we burned everything! Nametags
bumper stickers ,magazines even my old "way kjv bible I used all the time. It was a great feeling
and celebration
Ofcourse I went out later and bought a brand new bible (so I could start all over again without all
the pfal class marks in it.
It took longer to erase it out of my head!
But I love books, having worked at Borders Books (just NOT those)

I'm holding on to them from awhile longer...I have all of Wierille's books...hard cover.
Right now they are selling on ebay for $25-$50 a piece....I'll give them another 10 years.
