As you all know, I am 52 and blessed to have a teenager in the 10th grade. He gave me a beautiful Christmas card. Inside he wrote, "Mom I love you so, so, so much. I don't know what I would do without you."
I cried. And gave up a huge sigh, literally.
Mercy sakes. His precious life is still putty in my hands. My work is not done. Just when I wonder...you know those teenage days...is he getting what I am teaching him?...has it taken a good solid root that will not be pulled up?...aaahhh, even though the eyes may roll at times the ears are still listening.
I am a mean ole mama. Cheranne you are good about finding that sort of stuff. There was an e-mail a while back about I am a mean mama. It kind of went along with the youtube Jeff posted.

Reminds me of a quote I heard years ago:
"Children should be seen and not had."
