Insistence that you do what he or she is doing9One explanation of these symptoms is the development of a pseudo-identity, a new persona the individual adopts to fit into the cult environment.6To date, there have been many studies addressing the question of psychological harm caused by cult membership, but like any research into effects of trauma, ethics preclude much prospective study, which limits validity. In an extensive review of research, three researchers concluded that a substantial minority of ex-cult members have problems readjusting to life outside the cult.5Why some are harmed and others are not has yet to be pinned down. A Group Psychological Abuse Scale has been developed for measuring the degree to which influence exists in different groups

Sorry,it got to personal had to edit.
"Do not assume that divine guidance flows only when you are in need of help. Guidance continues to flow whether or not you have problems.
It transcends problems, heartbreaks, and traumas,
flowing through dreams and illuminations.
Whether guidance comes during times of tranquility or trauma, however,
it is up to you to have the courage to acknowledge it"

August was always a tough month for me because I knew all those years that the Rock of Ages was
going on and I would love to see old friends.
Now I guess it no longer exists and most likely most of my friends are out of The Way(I HOPE)but
sometimes in thoughts and dreams it still gets you(and that is to be expected just like a veteran has
thoughts about wartime and so forth.
I just hated that every August new wows would go out all light hearted and ready to save the world
(very green in there knowledge of TWI) as the Old wows would come in all ragged and worn out or
just thinking maybe IF I only had a differant wow family, ordoes "god" have a calling for me to do something
else in The WaY International(No He doesn't)
You never heard that did you or hey God wants you too go back to college and get your degree, and go
home and get along with your "earthly family"
Nope..every August it was like we were mule skinners, saddle up move em out and go make this so called
"ministry" more MONEY MONEY MONEY!
so,I was thinking of this old song I thought I would jot down(for all you 70's generation people you will
remember)
Hello darkness, my old friend,
Ive come to talk with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence.
In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone,
neath the halo of a street lamp,
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of
A neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence.
And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more.
People talking without speaking,
People hearing without listening,
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one deared
Disturb the sound of silence.
Fools said i,you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows.
Hear my words that I might teach you,
Take my arms that I might reach you.
But my words like silent raindrops fell,
And echoed
In the wells of silence
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon God they made.
And the sign flashed out its warning,
In the words that it was forming.
And the signs said, the words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls.
And whisperd in the sounds of silence.
