i don't know how that works, but it's worth looking in to!... i suppose the nearest relative would have to give approval... and there is the question of to whom go the royalties...
i have jim's manuscript. i just have to ask family if i can do something with it. or does anyone know?
Excie, if Jim gave you a copy of his manuscript, and he still had a copy, then the copyright definitely still belongs to his heirs. Do not sell or give away copies without their permission. If he gave you the only copy, with a letter that says, "Here, do what you want with it, it's yours," then it is yours.
If he gave you the only copy with no instructions, I would check with an attorney versed in intellectual property law, but my gut says the manuscript belongs to his heirs.

Thanks.
What about Karl Kahler's book? Isn't that on Amazon.com, too?

Unfortunately, Karl's book is out of print on Amazon. I believe that it can be ordered at Karl's site http://www.ex-way.com/

Didn't David Anderson have a manuscript for a book about James? Anyone know if it got published?

Excie,
Why don't you write a book. It would be terrific. We get so blessed by what you write here.

Hey there Jim. Not sure if this is the one you were talking about, but here it is ---
Online, and in it's entirety ----- >>> The Two Ways Of The First Century Church
Yea -- James (the book and person himself) is not treated kindly in this work. ;)
Save this to your favorites, and / or print it out. I did. Great reading!!

Woops --- forgot to mention ----- >>>
Click the link, then scroll down the page. Each chapter is a live link,
and you can read the whole book, or print it out like I did. :)
