Sign here if you herd you parents use the phrase "wouldn't you like to have your children be so quiet and well behaved?" while witnessing.
Well, I can't say that it was said exactly like that or specifically in a witnessing scenario but the quiet well behaved child was a topic of pride in TWI. Those without quiet, well behaved children were reproved. If you were not quiet and well behaved in a fellowship then you to be removed and possibly spanked with the spoon, yet parents were expected to bring young children to fellowship on weeknights. Oddly enough, kids usually started acting up if the fellowship went long. Go figure. They were probably tired or still hungry after a rushed meal trying to get to fellowship. On the other hand, for those of us raised in TWI, fellowship was a natural part of life and we were used to it.

Twinky
"Fellowship." What a misnomer for those with kids, or for kids.
